No Duplicate Content, but what about Privacy Policy?

I understand that in whitehat SEO we are not supposed to make duplicate contents. However what about Privacy Policy, and other pages such as 'about us', etc if we have multiple, similar websites? In this case can I have the very same 'about us', 'privacy policy', etc pages on my sites?

Unless you're trying to rank your 'about us' and 'privacy policy' pages, don't worry about the duplicate content. It won't hurt the other pages of your site that I assume matter more in the SERPs.

thanks for all your answers above. now I wouldn't be worried about putting the very same 'about us' and 'privacy policy' pages from my other sites to my new site. thanks again

I manage a lot of sites and the privacy is the same and we do index them. The about is unique.

Search engines are smart enough to recognize a privacy policy or about us page and not penalize a site for duplicate content on those pages, so no need to worry about that.
