No data about my blog on semrush and moz

With a week old blog, I’d say that what you’re experiencing is nothing out of the ordinary. Indexing takes a while, rank settling takes a while, and tools like SEMrush and Moz are even slower to pick up on everything. Just be patient and your site will appear on their radars.
In the meantime, you’ll want to work on developing your blog. The more it grows in quality content and the more authority backlinks it accumulates, the sooner it will start to rank up.

I keep wondering how I will be able to build backlinks while I am busy writing quality content on the blog... Which one would you advice me to focus on first?
 
It takes several weeks to get any new data, where are you building your links from if any?
 
Its been only a week, give it some more time, also add quality links relevant to your blog and work on improving usability and performance of the blog.

I would say that depends on how much content you have already published on your blog. If you don’t have much (which I assume is the case, given your blog’s age), then chances are that you wouldn’t be able to make good use of the increase in traffic, anyway.
So, I would say that you should focus on the content first and work on getting backlinks only after you have a decent number of posts going. As for what that number is, that would depend on your niche. 50 is usually good, and you can’t go wrong if you have more than that.

  • Pick a domain name that is relevant to your niche.

  • Produce high-quality content that people will link to.
  • Include internal links to improve user experience.
  • Run an audit to remove bad and broken links for a healthy website.
  • Go mobile-friendly.
  • Check your Domain Authority score on Open Site Explorer by entering your website’s URL.
  • Become the expert within your niche.
  • Make sure your website loads fast to reduce bounce rate.
  • Do content promotion via social media – Facebook, Twitter, Google+., LinkedIn, Snapchat.
  • Don’t forget to increase page authority as well!.

It will take me more than 6months to be able to have that amount of posts

I was only giving you a safe number, not a cast-in-stone rule. Do what works for you, but I would still advise that you focus on making content early on.
