Hi, my ranking for most kws have not change. (Checked both using serp tracking tools and manually using VPN) But it seems like my traffic is slowly and steadily dropping for about 20% since the start of the month. Could this be some kind of penalty? Or anyone has an idea of what is happening?

Are you sure your niche(s) is not seasonal?

Hmm its an outdoor/hobby niche. But I've not seen something like this for this site since I started tracking it.

sommer break ... less engagement because many have holiday

Nope. I think because less people have this purpose so they don't run to your website

Is the traffic all organic, or are you using paid options? If so have you changed traffic supplier?

Is your search local or related to a specific outdoors region? Those are especially prone to such seasonal shifts.

Summer break I think. My traffic dropped like 40% during this summer.

Of course it's summer. I am too lazy to even go take a piss. Affiliate business suffer during summer, and not just those. Go get a beer, enjoy the money you made, have a life. September will be good again :)

Sometimes I hope, that the weather becomes rainy, because then people usually buy more stuff.

UK Affiliate market must thrive 24/7/365 then.
I guess they're just used to it :D
It wasn't just my observation. When the weather is nice, people are more outside doing freetime activities - not sitting in front of the computer.

finally someone posted !! i am also seeing 25% drop in traffic since the start of this month and my keywords are also same. Seems like summer break like other said.

I have recently read a case study about the influence of weather on buying decisions. The outcome was that people tend to buy more or more likely to make a
decision to buy something on a sunny day. The sun is shining, the life is great, why not to buy some crap))

More than a half of the traffic is mobile, you don't need to sit in front of your PC anymore to click the order button.

I didn't mean to generalize it/apply it to all niches. I can just tell you about the observations I made in my niches and the niches of friends.

Simple example: An e-book countering depression will most likely selll better on a gray, rainy day, than on a sunny day.
To the opposite, I could imagine that for example swimming suits would convert better on sunny days.

Buy swimsuit and get e-book countering depression free = evergreen niche? :)

Hello OP, you might want to check some technical issues like your page load time and 404 errors.

You should consider the fact that not all of the traffics you get might be organic since a lot of blackhatters know this technique. Another you should consider is the holiday which just passed. So don't get too nervous.
