I have been manually making backlinks for the last week.

backlink watch shows 79
the link pop shows 1

and google webmasters doesnt show any, what are you suppose to go under? I may be going under the wrong thing

Is this normal? I create at least 100 per day

It takes time for them to get indexed. I personally only use yahoo site explorer to check my backlinks. You will have a lot that never get indexed also. If you want to improve how many get indexed you need to promote your backlinks by pinging them, turning them into rss feeds and submitting them, and if you want to take it up a notch backlink them.

yes it takes time. Also it seems to me that that google will never list all of them that you create.

decide on 1 way to check yr backlink count and stick to it. SEOspyglass is handy until you get over 1000. I think it's in the downloads section

it takes some time to crawl so be patient till all of your links are indexed...
