Despite the copyright issues, Nintendo is a HUGE niche. Which means it'll last quite some time, but man... it would be rough to really get any users to bite. You'd do better to just have NintendoRPGForums or something, I think. Too broad.

Wise choice to sell it. Sure possibilities are great, but so is $300 for doing nothing. The only reason you were able to sell is because of the new Wii coming out. Let somebody else deal with it and put in the work to make their money back.

Someone inboxed me i guess from the whois info after noticing it redirected to a blank blog. initially he offered 100 but that would hurt to let it go at that price. I had 5-figure plans with that domain (if no trademark issues arise) but can't see anytime in the future my time allowing me to invest in it and that basically was my case i presented to the buyer.

id keep it - and definitely put some time and money into it. that is a great brnadable name and even though EMDs dont mean anything these days that is still a good one to have for trust

And this is NOT brandable name. This is The brand of someone else! You can't create brand using someone's else brand name. This is called trademark hell and loss in the end.

Anything to back up your huge statement about EMDs dont mean anything these days? Last time I checked they rank easily without any links at all in non competitive niches.
