Although some people claim that mornings are the best, I've found that I finish the most of my work late at night. Are you more of an early riser or a night owl?

I think the whole night owl and early bird thing is mostly an excuse. Back in my early 20s, I used to stay up all night and sleep until 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Nowadays, though, I feel much better and more focused when I get up between 5 and 6 AM. I'm way more productive and get a lot more done compared to waking up at 8 or 10 AM.

Whether it's morning or night, if no one is nearby, then that is the optimal time to focus on work.
That's a fantastic argument . Regardless of the time of day, fewer distractions really make a major difference. Do you often arrange your workday to coincide with quiet times, or do you work whenever you can?

That's not in my hand. Most of the time daytime is occupied with distractions. So mostly my productive work hours without distractions will come either in early morning or late night.

I consider myself a night owl, but everything around you seems designed to turn you into an early bird.

I love the night , the quiet, the stillness, the fact that everyone’s asleep. It’s the perfect time to focus and get things done, whether it’s work or personal projects. But of course, that’s also the downside: everyone’s asleep. So if you want to have a social life, or simply align with the rhythm of the world, you kind of have to follow a more conventional schedule.

So, it’s been some years since I’ve become a bit of a mixture. I try to go to bed as early as possible (which, in my case, isn’t that early hehe) and I also try to wake up relatively early.

I'm always awake most of the day and night :)

But for productivity, I like to get on PC very early in the morning.

Staying awake for 24 hours, then sleep for 12 seems like something I can and like to do. My job has me doing irregular day and night shifts, and it doesn't seem to bother me as it does others.

I'm usually a night owl. But such a long time makes me feel like time flies so fast, so many meaningless days

I was a night owl for quite a while. I decided to change and I was surprised that there was so much time in the day and I wasted it for so long without realizing it.

It honestly doesn't matter if you're a night owl or an early bird. The key is to figure out when you're most productive and have the most energy. If you're crushing tasks at 2 AM, then that's your time. Don't force yourself into a morning routine if it doesn't work for you. Maximize your output when your brain is firing on all cylinders. Consistency and results are what truly count.

I’m the same — nights just hit different. It’s quiet, no distractions, and ideas flow way better than in the morning.
