niches that do not get reviewed manually

I have been thinking about the manual reviews lately, most of my sites would fail very, very hard on them... Because it is pretty obvious that almost all links are bought... Fortunately my niches are small and competition either has no clue or is blackhatting themselves.

There are a lot of niches where the whole top ten consists of spam gone wild, how would a manual review be of any value in those niches? If you ban one site with crappy links, the next one is the same and has the same crap links...

Then there are niches where I can imagine that google doesnt care at all, for example porn and gambling. One because the big G does not make a dime of advertising and two because (especially with porn), I can image employees do not want to research link profiles and niches in porn/gambling.

Have you guys ever had a pornsite or gambling site kicked out of the serps? What are your thoughts on this?

Yes I agree with what you say. G only have interest when your site cost them money. Or get in the way of them making money. I never have porn or gamble site only for religuos rule. But had site before with very good traffic. I make maybe 10-15 each day always. Everybody say me, use G for better earning. And when I do this I make 50$+ per day. But when day before time for my check issued. My account is banned for violationof terms.

So does google manually review dodgy niches or not?

while I do everything to pass a manual review I have serious doubts that I will ever encounter one.

My thinking is that manual reviews only happen against sites that have been reported - not whole niches or search terms anyways.

I agree, manual reviews on happy for sites that have been reported or or niches that are notorious for spam, e.g. viagra, gucci, etc. etc. I actually find that if you find keywords that don't have adwords ads on the search results, anything goes! You can rank sites with a xrumer blast and they'll sit there for months and months. I guess it's down to whether they are making money or not.

As far as smut goes google makes a lot of money selling ads. They do slap down smut sites as much as normal sites. Google learns a lot from those sites because such webmasters are usually ahead of the curve.

Via one of my friends I know a guy who works at Google as a porn reviewer. I think he had to check for child porn, so you can surely get banned out of serps with porn.
