Hi. I am looking for an experienced web designer who has experience working with WordPress and Woocmmerce to redesign a niche site I had built. I have a garden niche site that needs the following improvements:
Looking to have a well-developed home page, about us page, contact us page, payment gateways, proper plug-ins, and pop-ups to collect leads, proper AI, and integration with Mailchimp or another autoresponder. Total of maybe 4-5 pages that is GDPR compliant, has the proper legal pages and terms of service, and would really like to see the site be ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) complaint - ease of access.
I am looking to make this “gardening” site be a bit more different than just selling plants, water fountains, etc. The idea behind this site is to be devoted not just to family and home and garden, but to the ecosystem. I am looking to have users know that the products they purchase are good for the community, themselves, and the ecosystem. So, yes, I indeed need to remove a lot of products that just do not speak to this idea.
Even the option of having POD items would be great as well. For example, t-shirts that speak to not just that someone loves to garden, but that gardening serves a real purpose – like our planet.
The About Us page needs to have better copy as does a lot of the site. I want to incorporate video and have the “appropriate” plug-ins that will help with automation. I want to be able to have content curated so I can focus more on SEO and/or marketing and link-building. I think the “ecosystem” is an integral part of the design and want to be able to show that people who garden do so for more than just a hobby or stress relief.
The site should be about helping people learn how to grow edible plants, getting to know them, and sharing their progress with their communities. It is about sustainability and urging the customer to understand that their purchases help not just themselves but preserve our ecosystem. The site should help people learn about gardening through gamification and sharing; to increase vegetable consumption and raise awareness about sustainability.
I need a patient web designer who will listen, explain things in plain English, and research the topic. I need to be walked through the process and be able to reach the designer as needed (of course during normal business times).
The site should be an authority site and one that has a fantastic UX and motivates people to see gardening as more than just a hobby.
I need good products and not just the everyday product that someone can buy from a home improvement store.
Of course, I am open to suggestions regarding the design (but I really like the logo so that would stay).
I am a motivated buyer and looking forward to your reply.
Cheers.
