    Hi everyone..

I'm looking to build a few stores based off Commission Junction.

I've read reviews on quite a few scripts like Affilistore, Popshops and other Wordpress plugins.

The problem with Niche stores is the lack of SEO. All of them end up giving you a ton of outgoing links from each page..which results in you not being able to rank.

The only script I've found that addresses this is Popshops..which claims to make "seo friendly php" links.

I'd like an opinion from someone who builds niche stores.

    1) Is Popshops the way to go? .. I'd be using it with wordpress.

    2) Does the "Seo friendly php" linking actually stop google from seeing how many outgoing links there are? as in..does it help with SEO?

    3) Any good script besides popshops?

I checked out Popshops... Downloaded the free wordpress plugin to give it a go before I purchase.

Still worried about the "outgoing links" problem. Will the SEO friendly php solve that problem?

I think http://www.datafeedr.com/ may be your best bet. A lot more robust than PopShops - but a lot more expensive. By the way, the SEO option on PopShops is on their $30 a month option only (not sure if that is still the price). Anyway, check out Datafeedr - very good, but pricey.

    Checking out Datafeedr...
Popshops has the seo option on their Pro plan... $5 a month.

Oh, okay, been a while since I used it and it was only on the more expensive plan. PopShops is dead-simple to use - datafeedr is a lot more involved, but the drip-feed system is top-notch.

Do you think the SEO friendly php that both these scripts use solve our problem of too many outgoing links?

You know, I had a e-mail convo with one of the guys at datafeedr and I believe their does just that. I think that if you check your source code on your page, you'll be able to see if it is working or not - datafeeder turned all the outgoing links into keywords basically. I actually stopped doing store promotion, so I can't give you the most up-to-date info, but I suggest you try both solutions. Chat up the guys at datafeedr - they were very helpful.
