Niche Sites - Link Image to Amazon? & CTA

Hi Guys and Gals,

What's your thoughts on using links from your images to Amazon?

I've been building out a new site and have a pretty low click through, on previous sites I've built out I've placed a link out from every image to the product. Though what's your thoughts? Should I implement this on the new site.

And could I ask what call's to action are you using?
I've been trying out:-

Check latest price on Amazon.
Buy from Amazon.
Read more reviews on Amazon.
