What I've got
Alright so I've currently got myself a website that sees about $100 a month in revenue from Amazon and a bit more from Adsense. The site got 2400 Unique visitors this September. Currently the traffic is fully from SEO. I'm currently running out of content to write about for the niche on the review sides. So the biggest thing that can improve is ranking for more terms and getting more traffic to the site.
Moving Towards A Clickbank Offer
I would normally just build more links (I pay the marketplace here). However, amazon income is pretty nice but I'm getting more and more enticed with interesting offers from other sites. I've started up a clickbank affiliate page. The commission and price point is just too good to pass up. One clickbank sale is near $90. I've been investing on getting this to first page google. I've gotten it up from Rank 90 to 18 on google and should have some more PBNs hitting it by the end of October.
Collecting Emails
In addition I'm trying something completely new with my site. I've started collecting emails, offering a free ebook that I found online from a now defunct company that heavily relates to the clickbank offer. I could potentially build an email funnel for the CB product. I started up the email collection on Friday. One form in the sidebar on desktop and a popup on mobile. Both offering the related ebook.
I've got one lead so far during some slow days. Which kind of amazes me because I despise email collections on sites and see them as a nuisance. Aside from getting the PDF ebook to the email, I don't send any emails. In the future I want to make a chain of emails that will lead the potential customer to really wanting the CB product. It will be a bit of a learning experience for me to figure out how to build an email chain that will prime buyers.
I'm also keeping the emails on file to build a massive niche email list. Which afaik will let me utilize paid advertising better. I need to look into what you can do with an email list as well.
