My question is are they still worth it in 2024?
I read about the Google Algorithm and being removed from searches etc but are they doable these days?

Google is moving in a direction where blogs are being phased out.

Right now Google is pushing every1 to Reddit. Reddit in turn will feed Google's AI with source information which would allow them to finally (perhaps) launch SGE.
