Guys/Girls,
Been tearing my hair out for a while trying to find something which does the following;
1. Scrape the titles of forum posts
2. Takes this data and places it into a database of some kind
3. Runs at intervals I set
I am looking for something which collects data related to a particular niche (which I decide through the scraping of a particular forum) from a forum and collates it.
This is to learn what is happening within a niche, what people are talking about over the course of a few weeks/months to then focus website content upon popular and releavant articles/guides - trends within forums.
I have been looking at harnessing the rss feed urls of specific catergories within forums but I just cannot find anything which extracts the titles and then allows you to export into a database of some kind to further manipulate/refine the data over the course of a given time period.
I am happy to pay someone with experience to code something if there is really nothing out there which already does this job?
