Niche Focus Site or Review Site

I am creating a foreign SEO site the country I am doing it in is not hard to rank for, should I stick to a specific niche for example laptops or just do a general electronics review site. Will focusing on one thing help create authority and help me beat my competitors and relanvce?

Like you said, the country you are doing seo in is not hard to rank, so I believe if you focus on electronics niche, it will not be hard for you to rank. But focusing on a specific niche will give you authority in the market place. So it's your call.I believe it's a win-win situation for you. But if you want to focus only on, say laptops go for it.

You can do both at the same time. The more you specialize the more difficult will be to roll back, but the easier you will get results. Just analyze your competitors and select wisely.

It's up to you, typically electronics and tech gadgets sites are available in plenty of numbers. So, how you present your site well compared to others is the task. So, do good on any choices you go with.

If it were me, I'd go for general electronics. I just think that when it comes to content writing, you get more freedom in this niche. On top of that, it would be easier for you to publish more contents and expand your website once it starts to take off.

niche site:
pros = stable & quciker ranking

cons = limited products/cat (depends on the niche actually)

general site:
pors: more cats and products for review

cons: = take more time to rank / ranking will fluctuate more as compare to a niche site

Just stick on special niche... Don't be in general category

If you're on a limited budget I think it's best that you allocate your resources in a niche site than an authority site.
