How big is the juice difference from niche edit link without traffic vs with traffic and I mean post traffic not domain traffic (based on Ahrefs)?

Considering pages with traffic, you tend to earn referring clicks since traffic are consistent.

Especially working with buyer intent anchors.
Apart from that, both approach works.

If you're talking about DA, DR or any other metric out there then there's no difference.
It's only natural that a ranking page will pass more authority and link juice. For example, if a page ranks on page one for keyword1 then obviously a link from that page is much more powerful if you target the same keyword but it's hard to put a number on it.

@Turbo B. , of course, UR is the most important factor... for ahrefs. LOL

It's huge, if the site is relevant to your niche and has traffic, you have a greater chance of getting referral traffic which is the true measure of a website's relevance, user engagement prospects and finally goal orientation. No amount of links with metrics compares to the links with traffic. However, a link with good metrics & niche/content relevance still helps a site take competitive advantage in SERPs.

Niche Relevancy And Traffic Together on a niche edit will give you more power than without traffic ones.

Also you will get extra traffic which you can utilise using your website Monetization.

Forget DA and PA metrics from 3rd party backlink checkers.

A lot of domains have "high DA" but are penalized by google, often inflated DA from spam.

Check if your source ranks in Google well and has sitelinks when searching brand.

If it has high DA yet doesnt come up for brand query or has sitelinks chances are it has bad reputation in Google's eyes.

This will tell you forsure if Google loves that site or not and worth posting links on.

backlinks (internal or external) to the page with the niche edit probably matter more (and are probably correlated with) traffic on the page with the niche edit.
