Niche blogging....Dead?

Yes, you're on the right track!

GSEO typically refers to Geo-Targeted SEO — a strategy focused on optimizing your website to rank in specific geographic regions (countries, cities, or local areas).

Key elements of GSEO:

  • Localized keywords (e.g., “plumber in Miami” instead of just “plumber”)
  • Google Business Profile optimization
  • Location-specific content and landing pages
  • Local citations & backlinks (local directories, blogs, etc.)
  • Region-specific schema markup
Thank you for that clear statement and have an Happy Weekend ! :):):)

Depends on the niche but generally Google's generative answers are killing this industry. I'd suggest learning to code using AI and getting ahead of the curve rather than investing your time in a dying activity. It's like becoming a horse breeder when the first cars started appearing on roads, or something like that!

Not forget many of the mighty big newspaper media sites dominating broad affiliate niches too, they hire journalists, a team of people who doing product reviews with videos showing the product, how to use, etc,etc....you can't compete with them. These sites are high ranking and dominate in many affiliate niches nowadays. So you need a different twist when you are an affiliate to get good ranking and to make money. Learn the content style who will get viral on social media.

Happy Weekend- now I packing my backpack and go hiding in the nature the way is 6km (go and back) it's not too hot weather today, have my snacks prepared, 1 sandwich, 1 banana, 1 egg, 0,3l coffee (blood pressure gets too low) 1l water and my pipe with McConnell Marleybone tobacco !

Not dead but the competition is getting bigger and bigger everyday, you need to be unique about your keyword/blogs and everything related to SEO

Sorry I was hiking out in beautiful nature, not hiding (typo ), I need a more accurate better PC keyboard.... now watching new movies (streaming) yeah streaming like a blackhat guy....

It's tough. I imagine 99% of people in this thread giving you advice don't have a single blog over 10k in monthly organic traffic.

Unless you have a name built or some sort of unfair advantage, it's near impossible.

The niche blog sector never dies, competition has only increased
