Hi everyone,

So I have a few niche sites going on at the moment and at the moment the author/admin display name is just set to my first name. Now obviously I want to change this to something else and maybe have a picture. What advice would you give me on how to create this 'author' and give them a personality to make it more relate-able to the viewer?

Be good if you could share how you have created the 'author' for your sites and do you create unique authors on each site? Do you possibly have multiple on a single site?

Thanks everyone :)

Just let the 'author' have a real name just like yours, and put a picture which looks realistic and not ripped off from internet. I used to have a tech blog, and I just generated a random name and a picture to go with it. I don't know if the 'author' personality helped me relate to the viewer, but I had no problems.

About author, I want to say that it is better to use a random name with random picture. But if you want to create the most trustworthy blog such as techcrunch, mashable, etc. then you should use original name and picture not only yours but also all the writers who are included in your project.

Someone up as an "author" in Blogger is one way that you can let other people post to your blog.
