How many google searches should be good for a niche? I have a few niches in mind but I don't know if I should start with them. 1k searches, 2k searches? Thanks in advance for help.

agreed with the top posts. Look for lesser competition and with at least 1k searches.

I have a niche with 1.9k searches and what do you mean by top 10 small domains?

I have a good performing site with a simple keyword that sums up the content. Its a 480 or so keyword search volume, but it's an exact match and ranks well. Wouldn't go lower than 1-2k normally.

I like to count up 1% of the estimated traffic, of what I can expect to achieve as I go to see what the site can do, and you can keep your expectations realistic.

It's difficult to predict search volume for a specific niche
There's a bunch of words that relate to the same niche in different ways

You probably need to let your initial content drive your next targeted kw's.

Something like:

1) Write loads of content

2) Let the search engines rank you initially

3) Improve upon your best performing kw's doing kw research for these. The long tails you find here are especially valuable. Work on those first by researching their search volume and CPC.

Repeat this process over and over you should get good white hat SEO results. Then proceed to more advanced methods.

It depends on the amount of money you can make. If some niche can make you 1000 usd per product I don't mind a very low amount of searches especially if it is easy to rank as well. Take this into consideration.

Man, it's so hard to pick a right niche or I'm overthinking that lmao. Ty for help.
