niche affiliate store setting up

I just want to set up my first affiliate store but bit confused which engine or script should I use.
just checked popshops, datafeedr and easycontentunits, also tried to get affilistore script but seems that dissapeared.
I really don't know if they are worthfull for a beginner...
please help me out a bit to set up my first store at low cost. I wouldn't invest too much only for experimenting.
