Niche advise.

Hello!
Planning on starting affiliate marketing.
I'm going to buy a 1 year domain + wordpress hosting.
My current niche "idea" is dog toys.
But i'm not 100% sure.
I'm also considering doing it in dutch but i also don't know for sure because the audience would be less.
But that would be easier for me.

Create a blog. "Top 10 toys your dog will love 2018" Use good quality pictures for advertising and of course your affiliate links is what throws them to the sales page. Just find some easy keywords and start ranking using seo. Ads? I guess you can create a facebook page and ... You know, target your audience?
 
What advice are you looking for? Is dog toys a good niche? Who knows! Try it out. It will either work or it won't. If it works, great, you found a winning campaign. If not, throw it out like a used dog toy and try again with something new. That's how the road to success is paved, with failures leading to success. Good luck out there. #1 rule is never give up.
 
To be honest creating the niche site in dutch could be avantageuse to you. You see it as limiting your possible customers but a site in dutch would probably be eaiser to rank and bring in more monthly versions.

If I said no would you give up? If I said yes would you be happier? Ultimately, nobody is going to tell you if you have a good niche.

Dog toys might be a good business idea, but you have to understand how marketing works. Do you have some experience at least or someone who could help you? Nowadays, you cannot just have a great idea and expect results. It takes time and money, but that's not a reason to give up. Why not? Just research it properly before you start. I find that investing in social media is probably the best way to get recognition fast (take, for example, influencers on Instagram).
