NFT Project - Need Help

Hello guys,
I’m planning to make an NFT project. I got a interesting strategy for promoting it as Im marketer, but the thing is I actually have no idea from where to start.
All I got for now is an artist which will draw it and a marketing plan.
Where should the artist draw the portrait and the elements? Hes an good artist but not digital one

Where to draw the pictures?

I saw how it works in order to create 10,000 unique pictures, but he asks me where ti draw it.
Please help me, because I really don’t know from where to start(the technical part).

Your artist should know these things...

Answer to it.. It depends to the artist.
Can be Adobe illustrator, figma, procreate to draw the layers.

Then there's a simple software to randomly generate the 10k collection with the different traits.
 
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Character Animation...
 
They don't draw all the NFT, you put all your traits (features) in mixer with the rarity you put on and all NFT are created.

I can help you launch this on any network if you are looking for that kind of help
 
1. If Designer is on iPad I recommend 'Procreate' an App. This allows you to create layers and different variations.
2. Use this script to generate random NFTs with Node 'generative-art-opensource.git'
 
If the artist is a traditional media artist that's a bit hard then.
Learning the digital tools or at least learn how to digitalize their art is upon them, nothing better than a youtube tutorial about how to clean a picture or a scan of their art. From there, everything becomes more complex but more satisfying too

Hire someone that specializes in making NFT art.

What's the point of hiring someone that doesn't know how to do it ?

If you have a Tesla and your friend happens to be a good mechanic, but has never worked on electric cars, it doesn't make sense to go to him, when you can go to someone that specializes in electric cars.

I disagree a little bit. An artist doesn't need to specialize in NFT but of course would be excellent if they know about the tendencies, the artists that have selled more lately and such, I think :)

You're talking about 2 different skills.

You need to not only know how to make nice art in adobe or whatever photoshop tool you're using. But you need to know how to program as well.

Either you know how to do both things to create a proper NFT collection, or you don't.
 
Reiterating the fact that you need to get an artist that knows NFTs. It makes the whole process so much easier. They know which traits can work with others etc. Coming from someone that fired the first artist and then paid alot more for an artist that's done many projects and has phenomenal art skills and helped endlessly putting a project together that work. Getting the metadata coded in isn't hard, so it's not the end of the world if the artist doesn't do this part either.
It's about getting a good team, finding a good dev that you can trust is a mission. I have met multiple via zoom recently, and won't touch any that won't zoom call at the very least. Hope there's some help in there.
 
Having an Artist isn't the main thing, Art can be programmatically generated by programmers.
Do you have a Developer in your team?

Hi there, which sites do you use to look for good devs? I'm building a project of my own right now and need to hire some people.

Both ways can have their advantages.

If you want something quick and easy then someone who specialises in NFT art is so much easier. On the other hand, theses artists often create cookie-cutter NFT styles that have been done to death - and are hard to drum up excitement towards.

If you find an up and coming artist with an amazing style, but they're not currently into NFTs, then getting a virgin style could be much better in the long run.
