So I put my first NFts on the marketplace.

I used MintableApp to do so. I'm selling commercial rights to exclusive photographs & celebrity vieo.

- I promoted my pieces on reddit
- I may start doing this as well on instagram

Anyone else played a hand in this?

I see Rarible is charging people as soon as listed where as Mintable is free unless sold. However, I saw Rarible first, for it's association to Mark Cuban. Now i know Mark's trying to sell a quote on Mintable.

Lets talk NFTs!

I made some nfts (actually 4), I listed on mintable but I did not sell any

I think rarible is the best place to sell NFTs but they charge alot to list

did you sold any?

I've sold nothing yet but I have a lot of exclusive photographs from different countries. I think I may just go on a listing spree and see what I can gain. It's a great concept to connect aspiring artists to agents.

try to sell on rarible, is the top 1 nft marketplace of nfts

bro is mintable free or u need to invest money? like, if I have a .jpg and I want to sell it on mintable I need to give money or I can do it for free?

Wow! Nice find! Gotta check Mintable out! Those gas fees on Rarible are insanely high!

IMPORTANT: just created an account on Mintable. These guys only allow me to connect a MetaMask wallet. I've been seeing everyone recommend this little cute wallet, but I DO NOT TRUST IT. Why? Check the info the MetaMask developers themselves give about their wallet on Chrome's extensions web store:

Why the hell do they need a keylogger? Why am I the only person who's seeing this?

Just check the reviews out! People reporting their cryptos disappear from their wallets for no reason.

Goddamn it, so many scammers out there. Can't be careful enough. Crypto markets are WILD. :D

These guys have access to billions of dollars of crypto. You think they are stealing people's pennies lol? They would just take it all now and cash out if they wanted to, not just go into random little accounts.

As if stealing billions wouldn't sound an alarm. Better to steal a thousand here, a thousand there, in a confusing ocean of NFT junk worth billions, without raising suspicion.

From what I've read, MetaMask is considered a "hot" wallet, which is the least secure type of wallets out there. So not only does the keylogger seems to me to be a blatant security risk, the very technology powering MetaMask is supposedly vulnerable to outside attacks.

Why would they care about sounding alarms or raising suspicion? You are telling me that if you are a thief, you would rather run a legitimate organization for years only stealing a few thousand here and there, rather than just cash out billions of dollars and live like a king for the rest of your life? How can you explain that type of thinking? They can make more money than the thousands you think they would steal just running the organization legitimately. Investors will throw millions of dollars at them. So they are just stealing the thousands for fun?

Dude. Who's "they"?

There's several "they"'s here:

1) MetaMask developers
2) Mintbase developers
3) Hackers waiting to access your wallet

I don't feel safe using Mintbase because they only allow me to use a wallet that is vulnerable to hacking.

Secondly, the billions of US dollars worth of assets in these marketplaces don't belong to the marketplace owners, nor the wallet developers. They belong to the creators and the buyers.

The unwarranted self-assurance you display in your posts is comical. thx internet i guess :D

It genuinely seems like you have no idea what you are talking about and just want to talk nonsense. You are the one who literally just accused the MetaMask developers of using a keylogger (???????) to steal from people. Why would they need a keylogger to steal from you?! They can just take it from your wallet. You implied that because they can theoretically log key strokes, they are scammers. You defined "they," by referring directly to the MetaMask developers.

Anyone made any sales yet?

I've been trying to sell on Mintable, but the NFT market is already saturated with trash
