NFL games scripted?

I think I'm starting to notice a trend to the outcome of at least NFL postseason games, but I still have to look more into it. In the 2010 season when the Packers won the superbowl against the Steelers, the Steelers QB was being billed a sex pervert and Aaron Rodgers as a good guy that is very devout to his faith, after realizing it I had total confidence that the packers were going to win. And about 10 minutes ago I remembered how leading up to the Ravens vs Patriots game the Ravens' QB Joe flacco was being billed as a better QB then Tom Brady. Currently the Ravens are winning, and if they win does it mean the scripting behind the NFL games is getting predictable by clues in the media? If so could this lead to a "limitless" style betting action on NFL games to make a lot of money. In the movie limitless the guy notices that in order to make good money from day trading you need to find out rumors and news faster then other day traders.

ive had a feeling just to much money to be made w o someone pulling some strings ref play to big a part of a the game last week broncos vs ravens really did it for me

Its funny that most people I know in real life will look at you like your crazy for saying that the nfl is rigged/scripted. But there's tons of incident just in the U.S.A dating back nearly 100 years of sports events being rigged.

Yet bad boy Michael Crabtree who was accused of sexual assault and tatted man Colin Kaepernick and my 9ers won? Not scripted at all.

well really if it was fixed with hints in the media, everywhere you make a bet the odds would be for the team mentioned in the media, so you wouldnt really be able to make a lot of money unless you have a secret source

The way the Patriots play, it sure seemed scripted!! :noidea:

the same matchup last year, where Ravens Kicker(pro bowl kicker at that) threw the game on a 20 yd field goal costing them the Bowl... lol like heads of these sports teams dont know its a recession =P

The complexity of rigging an NFL game would simply too complex. There may be individual players that influence games by throwing interceptions/blowing coverage/missing FGs etc but its highly unlikely entire teams are in on it.

I agree. It is a complex game to be rigged... at least not entirely. But, I am pretty sure some rich bastards are sitting in their castles, making predictions and betting millions. lol
