Next Steps

I have set up my new site and I'm now looking at ways to increase ad revenue and drive traffic to the site aswell.

Currently in the first month I have had:

Pageviews: 2,787

Unique Pageviews: 1,924

Avg. Time on Page: 00:34

Bounce Rate: 77.10%

% Exit: 62.22%

AdSense Revenue: $2.28

AdSense Page Impressions: 1,896

AdSense Ad Units Viewed: 5,083


I am running adsense on the site but am noticing very small money being made e.g $0.01 p/d

Does anyone have any ideas to drive traffic and monetize the site more efficiently I have been researching SEO, backlinks and keyword tactics on here

Some basic stuff:

Keep adding rich content.
Reach out to other webmasters running sites in the same niche for backlinks and/or guest post opportunities.
Post updates to twitter, FB and other social platforms.
Test different ad placement to see what converts best.

I add atleast 5 updates per day which are autoblogged as drafts then re-written manually.

I utilise a social network base of 21k combined friends/followers in twitter and fb whilst also posting to social marker.

On ahrefs I am currently showing no organic keywords and I'm not sure why as I have SEO setup with all keywords site description etc
