Newsweek: general blogging sucks for $

There is an interesting article online at newsweek about the reality of making money off of general blogging. Even though this guy was getting tons of hits, he wasn't niche focused and the pay sucked.

Example: the guy (fake Steve Jobs) had a 500,000 hit day and only made $100 with adsense on that day.

Yea this is what happens when your traffic isn't targeted in the least and you write about anything and everything under the sun. Still tho, 1/2 a million hits a day and only $100 to show for it, that's pretty sad. lol he shoulda been lurking here

its good because due to this the non serious people will leave im and internet overall which means less competition.the hype is dieing out.
