Newspaper X Theme

I have a developer already working on the Newspaper X theme (with the specific demo) but it's taking ages to load, and they're trying to compress it. I've been later told that the theme is a nulled one.

So, the theme is for a blog site created from themeforest ($59). It is Wordpress based- Newspaper X. I think it's a premium theme, and I believe it's also available at @Festinger here ($15 for a month). But it shows Newspaper 8 on Festinger's. Is it the same as Newspaper X?

The demo that I liked in the Newspaper X theme is Newspaper gossip pro here, and I'd want to use that demo almost exactly. Without the demo, I don't think I'd be interested in Newspaper X. So the gossip pro demo would be non-negotiable, I suppose.

Note- I've at least 3-5 sites that need to be built in the days to come.

Questions-

Should I get it from themeforest or festinger?

What are the pros and cons involved for both, considering my situation?

I've made some assumptions above. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
