From my experience when I tried doing it I used WP RSS Aggregator. That is if you are on WordPress. It is the only one I could get to pull full sized featured images and full content. BUT remember Google does not like duplicate content, pulling in other sites content is not unique and will keep you from ranking, you will not get visitors. Write meaningful original content, or report news in your own words that is unique if you actually want to get somewhere.

Your best bet would be like 3picdc says. Most of your content will need to be unique. If you want to fill the page with relevant news though you could use a rss feed in the widget sidebar area. That will keep a steady news feed and make your site look fresh and updated. But there is no easy shortcut for having mostly exclusive content on your site.
