News site Aggregator

Not sure what forum to post this question so please move if more appropriate somewhere else.

What is a good aggregator website you like? I want to be able to add links from a bunch of other websites, so I can look at all the news articles in one place for quick scanning of major headlines.

If it has alert possibilities where I can enter keywords, and get email notifications based on words found in headlines or article, even better.

Free if possible but I'm sure better ones probably require a subscribe fee.

I love Metacritic, although that’s more of an entertainment news aggregator. Techmeme is great for technology news, and Feedly and the Morning News are better for general news. But really, my favorite news aggregator I use isn’t a site at all (or rather, I don’t use the site version). It’s the Flipboard app. Like you said, you can even adjust which topics you want to read about. Are you looking to make a news aggregator site or just subscribe to one?
