News Domain any ideas ? $$$

I own a pretty decent domain for the largest newspaper in the area. I have been sitting on it cause Im not really sure how to really use this opportunity correctly. Any advice would help. Cheers

1) Just place Adsense ads on it ?
2) collect emails
3) create a landing page for some sort of product
???

Why not you write articles in it and get money from it??
Use free hosting, install wordpress, copy articles from other news website, put Ad Sense or other kind of ad providers inside it...
