But the problem is with Nicke
Actually through adword keyword tools im a bit confused.
What keyword to choose. maybe im not learned enough in niche market.
Shud i go for keyword which has mediam compitition or i shud go for Low compition?
How many searches per month Shud be fine for me.
Please help me
regards

No one can decide keyword for you... You have to do on your own... Only you know how much work you are gonna put in your new project...

My suggestion if it's your 1st try (don't count failed ones) then go with low competition keyword which also got some volume in search... Long tail keyword will be good option... I have a niche where i am ranking for several keywords... Main key phrase is of 2 word and i am ranking there but still it's not converting well, where as another related keyword with 8 words converting like crazy... :) Low volume then main keyword but conversion is very good.

Go for the low competition long tailed keywords. oh and remember to select "exact" match and not "broad" match.

well i am not looking for someone to suggest me keyword. i am Just trying to ask theh tricks to know the keywords. Like there are three compitition type low mediam and high . should i go for low or mediam is fine. another thing. how much search volume shud it be.

i need suggestion now
is it fine if i go with this Keyword which has
Global searches 12,100
Local searches 8,100
and compitition mediam

AVG CPC is 1 $
Please suggest

The "competition" graph on the adwords keyword tool is relating to PPC competition not how hard it'd be to rank with SEO.

If you want a good indication of how hard it'll be to rank for any given keyword, stick it into google and look through the sites on the first page. Do they have good onsite seo, optimised around that keyword? do they have high PR?

In order to keep things free using the Google keyword tool then your best bet
is to do the following steps.

#1 Choose a keyword that is made up of 3 words or more the longer the better because this means it will be less competitive.

Once you have found 10 to 20 keywords within the specific niche you are looking for then is time to analyze them. If you are aiming to make revenue from adsense I would not go less than 1,600 searches per month.

#2 Check the number of competing sites that each keyword has by putting the keyword in Google within quotations like this --> "keyword"

I would say don't go more than 100,000 quoted searches. Starting out I would stick to those below 20,000 so that you won't have a hard time ranking for it. Once you do this then is time to check the top 10 results in Google for the keyword you want to go for.

Pay attention to their PR ranking, their backlinks and all of that stuff. You can easily see it by downloading the free SEO quake addon for Firefox as well as the SEO tool. They are great and will help you out a lot.

This should be enough information in regards to the competition so you will know whether to go for this keyword or not. The more you do it the better you will get at it and slowly develop and instinct for choosing the right keywords.

If you don't know what type of niche to start in go to amazon and look in to best sellers section for products, this will give you some ideas.
