Hi everyone, I'm a pretty new user here and after testing the waters with a few different methods i have decided to put all of my efforts towards AC for the time being.

My first day i wrote 3 original articles and then took 2 other articles and rewrote them.

a week later the 3 original articles got paid $1-2 a piece and the 2 rewritten articles each made over $5 an article. needless to say, I won't be writing much original content (I had chosen the exclusivity, upfront payment option for all articles)

Today I went on various sites recruiting rewriters and gave them some categories and websites to rewrite from, tomorrow the articles should start coming in and I will be posting updates here with how everything is going :)

Also, if anyone could post advice on whether it is smarter to ask for upfront payment or just get performance payments; I'm very interested to hear your opinions. Up until this point I have always chosen Upfront simply because it seems like there's a possibility of more money and I don't publish anywhere else.

    guess that's it... :tee:

WOW! Congrats! $5+ definitely breaks the normal barriers for any new writer. You're, I think, a gifted natural re-writer !!! :)

Today: got one test article each from four different rewriters, submitted them to AC and I'm now waiting for the results to see if I will hire them or not.

Rewrote three more articles on my own time today and submitted those as well. The plan is to get some writers + myself and keep a constant stream of articles going from pending to approved on AC and hopefully create a decent income stream. Getting started seems to be like getting a train moving though...

Perfect gameplan, Remember that content is king, so try to consistantly give them good solid articles that have the keywords used properly. Also, don't get discouraged because you may not be seeing big profits the first few weeks of submitting.

Thanks :) I'm still learning how to use keywords properly, (aka reading threads about it on BHW)

I have 9 articles pending now and the same 5 published, school starts up in two days here so I'm going to take a break until then and wait for (hopefully) some offers to come in and then contact the writers and let them know if they have or have not been chosen.

Thanks for the support guys :)

Just a quick update, none of the pending have been published yet. Starting to rewrite some articles in my free time and save them all in a folder on my computer, after these next 9 pending articles get offers I will decide if I'm going to stay Exclusive with AC or possibly check out other article publishing services that pay.

Although from what I understand AC is the only service that offers the upfront payment option; other services pay solely on performance views (albeit some pay much more per view than AC)

    Anyway, just my thoughts ^^

Yea AC is the best total package, unless you want to setup a resume/portfolio and try your luck with Demand Studios. They can be a real PITA to deal with though. With upfront payments, performance payments and partner calls, AC is pretty much the way to go.

Yep just starting up classes today but logging in every once in a while, still no more articles accepted for publishing (all are still pending). Ideally, I would submit multiple articles every day and receive a steady stream of income from AC but this beginning part is painful to setup :p

Ok, 5 articles got denied for publishing today. Time to look for 5 more rewriters :p (they still haven't looked at the ones I personally wrote and submitted)

    /update

One was too short, the others are 'too broad of a scope'

It's my own fault for not reviewing them enough, all I did was give them a quick once-over and make sure formatting looked nice. Next time I will pay more attention

In the meantime, I'm going to start writing my own original articles until I run out of material in my head. We'll see how this goes

    Make attention next time!!!

They can ban your account for content too short!!!

And a good SEO-friendly title could elude the 'too broad of a scope' rejection ;)

Just a quick update, haven't written anything or contacted my rewriters since the other articles went through AC.

School is beating me into submission, I need to get a schedule going for classes and then return to AC. Until next time :)

I am also looking to get into this too. So far I have had two writers try to "pull a fast one" on me and send me articles that copyscape found were almost word for word lol

I am looking for more people and hope to have 4-6 AC accounts and submitting 5 articles per account per day. We will see ..

Good luck and I will be watching yourr progress!

Finally have ONE dedicated solid good rewriter. I need to learn more about the copyscape thing too though...are there free programs that do the duplicate checking for free as well? I guess 5 cents a search isn't much but I'm trying to keep myself to only spending profits.

Gonna give this rewriter a few days and see how many they are able to submit/what AC gives me and then keep on tweaking as well as writing on my own. After that we'll see if I want to add more 'staff'

Very exciting in any case :)

Glad you've got the ball rolling...do a search here at BHW for the free software DupefreePRO. It allows you to check for dupe content without using Copyscape. Read this thread where I talk about how to use it for AC purposes.

    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/associated-content-writing-articles/77524-made-30-two-articles-today.html

You can also upload your articles to a free Blogger blog and then insert the url into Copyscape to check for dupe content. This method is a lot more time consuming than using Dupfree though.

    Good luck

I use both copscape and dupefree but half the articles I checked...dupefree said they were fine and copyscape showed they were not..and I am talking the whole article showed up with copyscape and nothing on dupefree. So watch out and personally 5 cents is worth it!
