newbie with a slight issue

I'm a bit new here(i've floated around but didn't even login til today) and i have an issue i need some input on. Basically, found out my wife was pregnant recently so she's being pulled home from active duty, which means money needs to come in again. I'm currently going to school so i need a way to make lots of cash relatively quickly. any ideas of anything i can try with low(or no) start up costs? I'm not asking for exact methods and i've seen lots of ideas posted, just looking for a starting point for someone who's never tried anything like this

Dude...this forum is filled with great ideas, just start reading and put together a plan. Isn't your wife eligible for short term disability payments? Maybe she'd be willing to help you do some research on forums like these (or not).

Here's what else you can do:

1) Buy a domain for <$10, even if its only for practicing some techniques
2) Install wordpress and learn the intricacies of this CMS - this will help you greatly later on
3) Go to Google and start researching hot trends, related keywords, etc.
