Hello everyone. I've been a long time lurker here. I've read a lot of threads over the last six to eight months. I finally decided to jump into the seo world.

I have a blog with original content and a few writers on my team. Traffic has been pretty meh, but the bogs only been live for 6 weeks. Any info you awesome people can provide about link building and getting more traffic would be greatly appreciated.

Link building is the one thing that I'm still fuzzy on.

Have you done any keyword research and see what topics you should be targeting?

I have. I have the keywords. I have content. A few of my pages are ranked. I just want to do better.

For a multiniche blog, is there any value in buying backlinks?

Look at the backlinks of competitors (who rank higher than you) of the niches that you're targetting using Majestic or Ahrefs. Then build backlinks there.

There are many people that will help you here, just kep in mind there is a ton of valuable info and answers however you need to spend some time reading and searching the threads also. it takes time, and certainly effort, but you wil find everything and more here.

depending your niche, related forums, yahoo answer, any paid traffic, youtube, etc.....
