    Hello everyone,

I won't bore you, just get straight to my questions..

I have a site with a med competition keyword within the 2yo domain name (it is a PR1), video + a single article on the main page and I think now that I have time (around 30 days) I can look a bit into SEO.

I have done NO work on this domain and I want to start learning offsite and onsite SEO on it.

The thing is I am not sure where I should start from. Can anyone point me out some sources I should check out? I don't want you to spoon feed me just a basic guidance..

    Thanks!

PS: Yes I have read a ton of guys whining about how SEO ruined their lives and it is not worth it blablabla but until I personally fail I am not going to give it up..

Dont panic SEO is awesome once you really get the idea and the right strategy on your target keywords. I would recommend to check your onsite SEO to use the 30 day trial at SEOMOZ they have a bot which you can use that will tell what you need to improve site wise. I used that for my onsite SEO and now its top notch!!! When it comes to back linking have a look at your competitions Backlink profile and try and understand what is need to be done this can be shown through ahrefs. Then you need to figure out whether you can do the backlinking by hand or not. but guessing that its Medium comp I think you will need to get your hands on some simple tools like Senuke.... well I might get slapped for saying that but its my preference or something cheaper like Magic Submitter.

I have used Senuke and scrapebox for my hard comp keyword and its working like a treat you just have to understand that its a pain staking bloody slow game this SEO business but remember to not blast or use spun content willy nilly on your site or else mr cu*ts i mean cutts penguin will be after you and also and make sure you vary your anchor text.

    Hope that helps
