Newbie Trying To Get Indexed...HELP!!

Hi folks, need help here, hope someone can guide me.

Have a website, "hotbeststore" , i have submitted URL to every engine i can think of, i have site mapped all my pages (took forever), submitted my robot.txt, and still cannot get indexed by Google. Obviously not expecting to get top ten, but a mention would be nice. Where am i going wrong?

Any advice for this old newbie, much appreciated. (Can you keep it simple, i likes it that way :pcguru:)

Advertise on BHW
Use digg
Make a video then upload it to tubemogul
Create a blog as a blog.hotbeststore ... and install wordpress on it (it will be indexed faster)
Create a blogger blog

Create connections within those i listed.As example, in the video description place your site url and do the same with the other properties.Make a connection circle within them.

You will be indexed in no time.
 
Digg your site and add your xml sitemap in google webmaster tools
 
Thanks guys, this place rocks, i thought i had come to the end of my journey, but looking around this forum, it shows i have a long way to go.

So much for: make site - get site hosted - make lots of money..:eek:
 
do some comment posting and social bookmarking .. its frustrating getting a site launched
 
First Step:You will have to signup to google webmaster account.

Second Step:I have already explained this step on other post:
But here is it,
first write one excellent article on my niche topic and submit it to ezinearticles.com and target as many links as possible to the article page URL,so the article on the enzinearticles.com would get heavy link juice and as a result my domain will get high PR with little effort and my domain is not sandboxed because the link is from an authority site,which is considered to be legit.

you can also spread the link throught other authority sites link hubpages.com,squidoo.com,youtube.com and don't forget to do the same steps for these sites also.
 
try making a comment with ur sites URL in some popular Youtube video..it got a couple my blogs indexed super quick...might wrk for u too
 
for fast indexing, do submit to social bookmarking sites and also post to article directories
 
Jesus, you guys know your stuff, i was way off. Looks like i have a lot of work ahead.

I do have a google webmaster account, but it takes me all day just to workout what i have to do on there!!

I've also seen some sites that will submit your URL to over 500 search engines, are they worth the money or not? Fed up forking out with no return.
 
Thanks Wizzoid, will definitely have a look at that, i'm just trying to keep up with all this info. Its MIND MELTING :eek: but i love it!!!!!!!!
 
Copy a few articles into a big article, hyperlink 2-3 keywords with your URL. Post the big article to bukisa.com. Send the link of your article to mixx,digg,delicious. That's it
 
submitting your URL to over 500 search engines is a completely waste of your time.Regarding google webmaster account,you will be given a meta code to paste on your website between Head tag for proving you are the owner of the website.And then they will insist you to submit the sitemap for your website, sitemap is used to index your site completely.And then check if there are any errors outlined through the webmaster account.

There are services that you can find on this forum that will submit to social bookmarking sites for you for like $10

Its worth it check out the services section or whatever its called
 
Its no wonder i've been struggling, i thank you, my wallet thanks you, when i get the wife to stop moaning (no sexual link) she will thank you. (Again no sexual link)!!!!!!

Is there any free tools you guys can advise on, that you have found invaluable?

ye dont waste your time those mass submission sites, just submit site to the top sites with the highest pr...for articles, social bookmarks and feeds...
 
In the future all you need to do is put adsense on the site, refresh the page a couple of times, wait a day, and check. It'll be indexed ten times faster that way.
 
since its been indexed, you just need to work on your link building and pagerank
