    Hey guys,

Im trying to install a plugin on my wordpress blog. But, I notice you have to have a host, and so you are unable to upload a plug in on a free wordpress blog? Is this correct?

And also, what is a good free host that would support wordpress and a .php plugin that brad1001 made for my super fantabulous cpa NON-craigslist get rich quick scheme that will probably fail - but hey, atleast im getting out there and trying, unlike most 14 year old newbies, plus its all about the learning, amrite?

I was thinking 000webhost, but I heard it has had trouble aparently supporting some wordpress themes and/or certain plugins??

Basically, if this matters, all my little wordpress page is going to be is:

    - A plugin
    -A few iframed cpa offers

    for epic win hopefully?

    Thanks in advance

Yes you are correct that you cannot use plugins with the .org wp site. A simple goog search for free wp host will get you some good results, but you should seriously consider splashing out on some cheap hosting.

You will probably need it when you get your next idea anyway.

It'll only be approx 100 hits a day, so I think it should be fine, lets hope.

I don't recommend 000webhost, I was with them for over a year, more like 18 months and the last few months have been hell, they are always getting DOS attacks and all my websites were down for many hours. They also banned my IP number from accessing any of my sites via the web or ftp, yet would not tell me why. The only answer they gave was that if you make more than 2000 hits per day to your site you will get a 24 hour ban on your ip. I never made any like 2000 hits in a day to my site, I couldn't even hit it that many times in a month, so it was not that reason that got my own IP banned, and even if it were, it should have been ok after 24 hours, however after 2 weeks and no help from them, I moved to byethost. I got premium hosting, it cost only $38 per year and it is superb. Much better than 000webhost for wordpress as byet uses localhost, and I don't get the time outs and freeze ups that I was constantly getting before. I reccommend them and you can get completely free hosting too with them, however you can only have 3 mysql databases with freehosting. I had a few minor problems when setting all my sites up with them, and found the support to be superb. Good luck with your new wordpress site.
