Hi guys,
I have been reading this forum quite a bit and learning as much as I can. I started a Blog for adsense revenue. The Blog is 3 days old and currently ranked on pages 17 and 24 on Google and pages 13 and 16 on AOL for 2 keyword phrases. The plugins I am using are:

wp auto tagger
platinum seo pack
featured content gallery
free link exchange
tubepress

I am wondering if I add the plugin "google sitemap generator" if that will help me or hurt me. Also I would appreciate any helpful input as far as what I can do for SEO to help me.

There are many things you can do for seo. You can try adding manual blog posts etc. Or you can try using a software to comment for you like scrapebox.

I would personally ping your site, manual backlinking. That should help you out! I just lauched a site and its index on good 11 times, every day it goes up more and more.

Back to the question.

Use this plugin ==> Google XML Sitemap Generator.

It's good for your website even if you don't submit it to Google Webmaster Tools.

Other than that, the suggestions above are all valid.

Thanks guys. I have heard alot of pros and cons on scrapebox. Can it hurt me and the possibility for higher rankings?

Based on your questions, it seems that you don't know Scrapebox yet.

It can hurt your website and it also can bring it down.
It depends how you use it.

Find the right way to do it. Ever feeling in doubt and guilty doing it, meaning it's not the right way. (Usually)

I used ping studio on Sunday night, let it run all night. I checked my ranking today and my site has jumped up to page 7 on google. Should I use ping studio again and it so, how often should I use it.

One other thing. My blog has about 20 or so video's on it and also some images. Should I be using google sitemap generator for images or video's or the standard google sitemap generator?

Use both video and image sitemap generator
