Newbie to blogging; Help me get started!

Good day, BHW community.

Previously, I received a lot of help, suggestions and links to different sources on my very first thread (made the thread very valuable for newbies like me, go check it out if you want to learn on how to become a daily trader, especially when it comes to forex: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/forex-trading-where-to-start.1264107/) which was about choosing a trading market.

After doing a proper analysis, pros and cons comparing - good news, I've found my target market. But that's a bit off-topic.

Anyways, I've decided to put myself to maximum work and came up with an idea which includes blogging and the idea is very close related to my daily trader journey that I'm currently on.
You, as an experienced blogger - what would be your suggestions when it comes to the following;

• Choosing a hosting platform (WordPress, Wix, SquareSpace, Shopify),
• Where to buy a domain as cheap as possible,
• What are the top major things that I need to be focused on and include in my blog?

Just in case if you were wondering, I do have some knowledge and experience when it comes to creating an aesthetic website (the design part) and I understand how important the key word ranking part is. That's pretty much it.

Also, a quick note - I plan to post referral links on the blog, too.
