Hi this is my first post been mirroring the site for a while now. I recently started to use SEO on a project that i am doing. I know some basics on whitehate SEO and i would like to explore blackhat SEO.

my website is based on a niche area like wall painting, my primary goal is to explore and improve my rating on google the search engine.

is there any basic guides or tips to use?

    Any help greatly appreciated :)

Basicly start reading the threads about SEO and Backlinks.

Look into tools to start automating it and getting links quicker.

Content and backlinkls, how you get there depends on your knowledge, skills and the white or black techniques used. Also decide on what apps you want to invest in.

Spend a few grand some peoples tools and you might get a few links..

Otherwise I'd read the forum a bit more and take it in

If your planning on using blog posting as a means to increase your websites backlink, them make sure that the post you are submitting are relavent to the actual blog.

Save yourself and the webmaster time, and post only something relavent. You'll increase your approval rating that way on blogs that are webmaster approved.

You stated that you know some white hat seo and you want to experiment with some black hat. However, someone mentioned in a post somewhere on this forum about checking out challenge.co/training it is white hat stuff but I will tell you first hand that it is filled with awesome. Great place to start, imo. Good Luck!
