I found this useful. Not my tips: http://www.garyviray.com/google-penalty.html

I came across it from a site "on the other side":
    http://scriptogr.am/slaven/post/a-painful-tale-of-seo-spam-and-googles-role-in-all

Added for context: the second link is a website owners perspective on the google changes and trying to keep a community around their product. Their beef is they have a software product whose forum was spammed for backlinks for a long time until they closed it...

The first link is from an SEO company thats is selling services post-GoogleAnimal to help spammers recover position. He's basically calling website owners who want to be compensated for removing such links snake oil salesmen.

So I think theres a lot here in terms of tools and techinques whether your need is for DIY WH recovery, SEO services, BH negative SEO, or some other craftily nefarious purpose. Just add your twists :)
    Thanks for your thanks.

Pretty cool story but I have my doubts regarding it sincerely.
It's better to not help Google entering your projects with Google webmasters tool, analytics and so on.
