Newbie Tips For Making Money Online?

Hello BHW!

I've been lurking the site for YEARS! And I've tried some methods of my own but unfortunately was never really able to make a return on my investments.

So I come seeking tips and knowledge from more experienced people than myself lol. What are some good ways of making money online? Should I focus on niche sites/amazon or both?

I have a site: tripshotels.com - It's in the travel niche, but I'm not generating much traffic or revenue. Seems like marketing isn't working. Should I do more in SEO/Social media?

Also, are there any RELIABLE and RECOMMENDED services here? I see a lot of posts of people offering sites at a price, but I want to know if I am better of making my own or buying one from someone else?

I think your site looks nice, are you just pulling data from other holiday/travel sites and pushing affiliate links?

Thank you! So far, I've just been pulling data and pushing links like mentioned. And also using ads as well.

I've done some SEO and marketing, but I'm thinking I may need more since traffic hasn't been growing as much as I'd like.

I'm thinking I may also need to create (or purchase) content like trip experiences, reviews, or something of the sort that relate to the travel niche to boost SEO, keywords, etc.

The website in terms of presentation is good. Try to connect a youtube channel or blog to the website, that could help create relationships with the customers.

In terms of a youtube channel would I need to create my own videos, or find travel niche channels and connect with them?

With blogging, I was thinking about either generating content or hiring people to generate blogs for me. Either about traveling, tips, etc. Is that what you were meaning as well?
