    Hello everyone!
I know similar threads have been answered to death, but if you have the patience please bear with me. I hope I put this thread on the right section.
I don't know where and with what to begin my first ever introduction to IM.
I feel BHW like some kind of school with all this information and knowledge and this site alone is the reason that it motivates me to enter IM.

Anyway, my question is where do you think it's the best place for a newbie like me to start, except BHW. I know everything is already here but it's scattered all around and I feel overdosed with all this information and checking all these daily new threads. I literally jump from one thread to another and cannot concentrate.
I have many ideas in my head on where to begin but it discourages me that other than that I don't have anything. No knowledge. All these years I have just been surfing on the web, not knowing absolutely nothing about IM...

I see that affiliate marketing is big, so I have found this website that's called wealthyaffiliate and thought maybe a good start since it seems to be noob friendly and have courses in parts. I think it's free too, in the beginning at least.
Because from what I've seen they charge you quite a bit later if you want to have hosting by them in order to continue...
Do you think it's a good site to start if I want to do affiliate or should I not waste time on it?
Should I not even start with affiliate IM?

    Some of my thoughts are:
Making a monetized youtube channel and try to get subscribers?
Build an authority site and monetize it with adsense/other?
Build niche sites and try to promote/affiliate with Amazon/clickbank/other?
    Do dropshipping?
Do facebook, twitter, pinterest, tumblr, social networks?
(these seem some of the hardest for me to begin, to me to be honest)
Even build a legit porn site concentrated on one category that allows users to upload and view videos, not porntube-like site.
(thing is I don't really want to go into porn, just more like a thought, since I see that's popular.)
Do something completely different that all these?

    Also, something a bit off-topic.
I don't have a credit card. I only own a debit card and have PayPal.
The thing is I live in Greece and the whole situation is fucked up and we are under capital controls, so the banks don't issue new credit cards.
You cannot even open a new bank account. My question is, is a credit card essential for doing IM transactions?

I think that the only sure thing is I have to change my mindset and try to concentrate on just one thing, work on it constantly and give it plenty of time in order to see results, isn't that so? How much money would you say is required to start?
I just want your opinions and help on which type of IM to start.

Sorry for the long thread guys!
I hope you can guide me.

If you reach your goals and grow your business, you can go to step 4:

If you do great, in 1-3 years you could very well sell your first business ;)

Ok, but I have to start somewhere with the basics, since I don't even know how to create a website.
Do you think affiliate marketing would be a good first place to concentrate?

choose the one which will help you in retaining your interest till the last. if you are about to choose developing niches, get a clear idea about building quality sites.

So, you're saying it's best to try and build authority and not micro-niche sites?

what are your strengths? good at writing? designing? coding?

leverage your strengths and go at one method.

but of course that (one method) depends on your strengths, which only you know best...

therefore the answer lies within yourself.

sure you could go into porn. there is a lot of money there. are you willing to compromise your morals to make the money? that choice is yours.

debit cards and paypal should do most of what a credit card will do.

affiliate marketing is a perfect place to start.

from now on stop reading the front page of BHW.

I don't really know what my strengths are, maybe none in IM since I have never done anything online before in my life.
I'm willing to work hard, concentrate and be consistent though, since I really want to learn.
Would you say that wealthyaffiliate site would be a good place for me to start?

Have a look on Udemy for some free courses, as a starting point.
I'd suggest you checkout how upto date the courses are and the reviews.

Would you recommend a really good specific course there to get started? I don't mind if it isn't free.

I see that Udemy has a sale as a new year promotion for many many courses, just for 12$.
I would buy 2-3 different courses for that price, I look at the reviews as to which to choose but I don't entirely trust them.
Would someone here recommend me some?

yeah you're going in the right direction.

not sure about wealthyaffiliate, or any particular course.

but if you just pick one course and complete it then you will be good. just choose one. sounds like wealthyaffiliate is a good choice for you.

Guys, I just wanted to ask an important question since I'm just getting started.

I've been reading a lot and I see that most people say that the most critical part is posting useful and original content for traffic that convert to sales as far as Amazon Affiliate stores go.

My site is set up to be an eCommerce store though.
Is this the wrong way to go?
Is it better to drop it and create review site?

I was thinking maybe adding a "blog" section to the eCommerce store where I can write content there if it's so much needed.

Also, is it best to concentrate for expensive products?
Because many of the products I have chosen are for less than 15-20$.

Hello, personally I started by learning how to build my own websites, Wordpress is really simple - check out the download section and I believe there is a post offering access to courses ripped from 'ask lynda.com - something like that
If not try YouTube for how to build Wordpress sites.
all you need to get started is hosting (I use host gator for about $11 a month, and namecheap for my domain names, anything from $5-12).
once you have mastered the basics of web design you have so many options open to you.

sell web design service (eBay, fiver, guru etc)
build your own affiliate sites (Amazon, CB, cpa, services etc)

basically pick one thing and learn it, then take action.

    good luck

Thanks for your reply, but this doesn't answer any of the questions I posted. I already started working on building an Amazon Affiliate ecommerce store. Read my post above.
