usually people put whatever they're uploading inside a password protected .rar file and they add an instructions.txt file in the torrent that says "to get the passsword to the .rar file, visit this link and follow the instructions." The link sends them to a content unlocker. There are some CPA networks that provide content unlockers. Keep in mind though that people will report you to the torrent sites for that and your torrents will be taken down often so you will have to constantly be uploading torrents.

The problem is that people don't want to be hassled when they're trying to install something from a torrent. I think what would be better is something that binds itself to the program you're uploading (the main .exe that gets installed) and then lets say after the second time the program runs it pops up and says "thank you for downloading my release of [software]. I spend time releasing these for free. To continue using the software please support me by visiting this site and filling out a survey and you'll never see this message again."

I dont know of any software that does this yet but it seems like a good solution to me.
