[Newbie Question] When do i need Proxys?

Any time you are doing something repeatedly which will annoy the owner of some web site (spamming YouTube comments f'rinstance) you will need proxies as it is too easy for the web site owner to block an IP address and some will have automatic systems in place to do this. Just try and post a hundred You Tube comments a minute without changing your IP address and see how long you last :-)
 
Well it depends on what are you planning to do, can you elaborate shortly? --> email spam, comments, create users etc...
 
comment spam.. email spam is illegaly in germany, could i do this nevertheless?
 
What are "bulletproof" servers? What' the difference between a bulletproof and non-bulletproof server? Tnx so much
 
I had this same question about proxies. If you are getting your ip dynamically (dhcp) how do you change the ip address? Will going to a command line and typing: ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew not work? The new ip will come from the same subnet mask.
