Hey.... be gentle haha. I am new to this and am looking into VPS.

I was on extremeseotools and they have a few different packages between $30-$150/month.

The packages come with various preloaded software on it. However, a lot of this software has monthly fees... SEnuke for example is something like $170/month (forget exact number)....

So essentially when you purchase a VPS you need to pay $30/month for the server then extra money each month for the software?

sorry for a idiot question. just wanted to double check (hey we were all new once right?)

Nope, just pay the VPS fee and you'll have access to all the tools.

I think he means because with a VPS, you're relying on someone else to provide the tools and security for you. If their service goes down, you lose access to everything, as opposed to owning your tools and using a VPS/proxies. However, you can just find a reliable provider with good reviews so you can be fairly sure that the service will always be available.

I would advise you to get a VPS without any pre-installed tools.

Install your own tools instead of using those cracked ones. Most of people complain about the softwares not being working or being updated very often so getting your own legit copy of those software with a fast VPS is the way to go.

Some VPS + SEO tools hosting providers claim that their software is fully legit, but I haven't checked it personally.
Do you really need all these tools? Pick a decent VPS and install your own. As for the SenukeX - I'm sure that it's heavily overpriced.

D.

I would go with just buying a cheap-reliable VPS, then purchasing your own licenses for these as some providers are using cracked software with their clients, most just give you an account on the server and not an actually a true VPS that is separate from others. Buy your own VPS and tools, you won't regret it.

Always have your own tools, you can use them in any way you want. There is no harm in that and buy vps and private proxies.

While my experience with extremeseotools was mostly good there are a few things you should now and take into account before using them.

First of all the tools are cracked, but you probably know or at least expect this when you think about the price.

The second thing is the reliability of the tools, while the support has been fantastic while I was with them the tools do break down from time to time and you have to contact them to get it fixed.

It all comes down to what you need and what you're expecting. If you don't have a lot of money and want to learn how to use the tools this might be a good place for you. You can do some work with them as well, but don't expect these to be 100% working 100% of the time like the regular versions because that isn't the case.

My suggestions to you are that if you're just starting out in this racket, which I'm guessing you are seeing the nature of your questions is that you should rather learn the without tools approach first. Learn everything there is to know about SEO and how to do it manually and what benefits AND disadvantages tools bring.

Please don't be offended by this but I have absolutely no sympathy for these "newbie" threads. We were all inexperienced at one point but the difference between the people who remain unknowledgeable and those that advance in this or any other business is that we know that nobody is going to serve us all the answers, we go out and learn the basics and experiment.

Everything that you've asked in this thread has at least been answered a 1000 times on this forum alone, not to mention the whole web. If you're expecting to be spoon-fed, IM isn't the business for you and neither is anything else.
