Newbie Question about Indexing

Hello,

I am a newbie and have a question about indexing. I created two blogs. I added both blogs to Google webmaster tools (GWT) and have found they both are not indexed according to GWT. However, when I type in site:website, I see both are indeed indexed. Why is that? Shouldn't GWT show the sites are indexed?

If the sites are index, what free or paid program can I use see page rank?

Hi there, if you're talking about the index status section in GWT bear in mind that it will take some time (at least a week) until you start seeing index updates there. That's pretty normal if you validated your sites recently.

Regarding the PR checking tools you can use any free online PR checker, there are plenty of them out there: http://www.google.com/search?q=free+pagerank+checker

If you check any of those tools against your new sites you're going to see an N/A. That means that your pagerank is not available because it only updates after each pagerank refresh and the last one took place in December 2013.

Anyway you shouldn't worry too much about your pagerank. It's kind of an obsolet metric and Google said that they are not updating it anymore. You should better focus on other link profile quality metrics as the ones provided by majestic, ahrefs and moz.

Your site is indexed, don't worry OP.
When you do a search in google site:yoursite.com and it sows that means your site is indexed with google.

With the webmaster sometimes it will need up to 10 days to show the indexed links, so don't worry.

The best indexing is share your URL to Facebook,Twitter,G+ and then use Indexing in drip feeding in instantlinkindexer which I use then it will be index for sure.

Or create an ad in adwordswith your url so the bot indexes your page immediately- just don't run the ad

If site:domain is showing results in google search, your site is indexed.
Google webmaster is late with these notifications.
And about PR it is now mostly considered by people who sell links.
For fast indexing you can use bookmarking websites

Share in social media and also create adwords.This will help you to index your page. Most important is you have to wait for a bit time. with in one or two weeks your blogs will get indexed..
