Newbie Proxy Question 911 S5 - I think Proxify Leaks my IP

Please forgive my noobness. This is my first experience with proxies or anything like this really. I am trying to use S5 from 911 and I can successfully get my IP to work on a browser but when I follow 911's guide to use Proxifer my 911 IP is not showing. I cleared cookies, uninstalled/reinstalled.

My goal is pretty basic, I just want my system to all appear to have one residential IP when I launch a software that wants to check my location. I am probably making this way harder than it really is.

Should I scrap 911 and try something else?

I didn't have webrtc disabled but I just looked it up and it is now. I can successfully get single browsers to work, just based on checking my IP.... but not my whole system.

Maybe I am not using the term leak correct and should just have said I am doing something wrong haha..... In CMD my IPV4 shows my true IP and not what I set in S5 with Proxifier. My IPv6 is a longer string of characters that I honestly need to read up on, but it's not the proxy IP shown in S5.

Proxy is not the same as VPN.

When checking cmd, you will see your real network settings as a proxy is an application-specific thing.

The best way I check whether the proxy IP is leaking or not is by using CMD. It's the most vintage method for testing whether the IP is leaking or not. If the CMD results show you the IP of the proxy rather than your original proxy, you're all good. Otherwise, your IP is leaking.In your case, what I can assume is your IP is really leaking. I believe you'll be shown your original IP when tested with CMD.You should be able to browse the internet without third-parties knowing your location. The right proxy will hide or shield your IP address. IP address leaks are easy to identify only by using simply the CMD
