thank you for your prompt response.
i will be more accurate in my question. how does an agency go about controlling the accounts the revenue is deposited into. my understanding if OF will only ONE bank account per OF model.
do agencies create bank accounts under someone elses name then have the model create her OF using that bank account? i hope i am not asking incriminating questions.
Well, I've worked with a couple of models but doing freelancing marketing for a specific monthly fee.
The correct way, as far as I know, is to estipulate a contract with a specify % over models revenue.
For a agency to control it, and this is just my personal opinion as a entrepreneur, the correct way would be creating a contract clausule to verify monthly payments and complement it with a automatic wire transfer for a X percentage over that value, this only in terms of payment.
As local law's variate from place to place, a local lawyer can make this undertanding more complex, but the way would be creating a digital control (have proof) of model earnings and estipulate a transfer upon those earning on a monthly fee from IBAN X to Y , in a specific timeframe, on a monthly basis, while the contract is active.
It's much more complex then this explanation, since there is a lot more variable to control besides that, for both ways (agency and model).
Normally there are issues when contracts are not clear on payments or what obligations each part have and that's why a good contract is the way to go, it will save money and time.
my 2 cents.
