Newbie needs some advice

2 days ago I decided to get into making some money online because I have a lot of time to kill for the next couple of months. I read around and did a bit of research and decided to start off small with something that wouldn't cost me anything, so I set-up some PPD (think that's what it's called) links on a free website I created. I went for a an online gaming code type thing and made a bunch of simple YouTube videos on multiple accounts linking to the website. The first day I was very suprised by the results, I made a little over $5. Day 2 however only 0.87, which I don't quite understand because during that day I added two more sites to different games and actually made them look a lot better than my first effort. My expectations were to make a similar amount or possibly more because I figured the videos would be getting some more views and having 3 websites with multiple download links would surely be better than just the one.

Is this something I should expect early on? I'm maybe being too impatient, it was just a little disheartening to see I didn't even make a dollar for 5 hours or so of repetitive work on that second day. Any tips or advice for me would be greatly appreciated!

Don't worry about it , some days you earn even $20 and next day a nice 0 . It's just the way it is , the trick is not to give up If you already made $5 in your first day and made some more profit on second i would say your doing pretty good keep it up and see where it goes

It all depends on offers. If the user completes a offer which pays less then this will result in lower profits. Just keep going on.....

Past two days I have had 0 completed offers, I must of just been super lucky on that first day I guess because I've checked all my Youtube videos and only 2 have been removed. Think I need to find some better niches or a new method to try out

It's going to happen no matter what you just have to keep uploading... I Feel that I wasted some $$ on trying to rank my videos to the top which did not work so now I'm just mass uploading. Accounts are getting deleted pretty fast in about a week so it's kind of discouraging making $10 then making $2 the next day... just don't give up and keep going at it... I uploaded a bunch last night and some of the accounts are already deleted and haven't got any completed offers for them... so it feels like hard work got me no where from yesterdays but today's a new day and more uploading! Thanks for the replies, getting a few more completions after using vagex and u2bviews to boost my youtube videos. Wondering if there's more I could be doing now.

Also, could anyone answer if advertising links to virtual products is breaking any laws if the files being uploaded/downloaded are completely fake/copyright free? I know this isn't the way to go if I want to make sustainable long term money but at the moment I'm just trying to get a hang of what works and what doesn't, and doing anything else would cost me money that I know I wouldn't be able to make a profit on at this point.
