Hey guys, this is going to be my first journey.

I have a few ways I'm going to make this try to work:
    Method 1:
    - as cheap as possible (Minimal investments to none at all)
    - try to scale that up.

    Method 2:
    - invest with the gained experience from method 1 ($50 investment max)
    - rinse and repeat

My overall goal here is to make any amount of money with the first method (To prove to myself I know how the basics are done) and from there advance to a method involving a bit more risk/investments.
Ultimately I'd hope to earn back my investments from method 2

My expectations are not high, mostly due to the fact that I have tried sooo much already and did not make more then a few cents.

For the first method I am thinking of going with tumblr / a free wordpress blog / blogger or the least favorable; a free domain and hosting.
If anyone has tips regarding these 4 please let me know!

    My thoughts behind tumblr are the following;
    large audience
can add things like mylikes etc
    minimal costs
maybe a bit more easy to automate due to the large amount of bots present? (not sure about this one)

my fears are that it's already saturated and my blog won't ever reach the surface due to the vast amount already available
might cost more investment then I though due to the above^
first time working with tumblr ever

    My short term goal right now is;

Do some more research and hopefully get some answers/tips/advice from you guys
Set my mind on what I am going to do so I can stick with it

By the end of this week:
Have something online that looks legit and attracts people.

Some questions I have I hope some of you can answer:
What is your favorite: Tumblr / blogger / wordpress blog / free domain + hosting
What are good ways to investigate a niche in one of the above environments ?
What is a realistic time frame to see income from both methods individually (for example: method 1: X days / weeks ;; Method 2: X days / weeks)
    Any more helpful tips?

My reasons to go into IM are simple, I am 18 years of age right now and I'll be re-joining school in 1.5 months to finish it.
I will lose my current full time job by doing so and I need an other source of income or I wont make it to the end of the year (I hate my current job anyway).
I also have a fiance I need to support and while she works, her salary alone is not going to cut it.
My parents are in huge debt and I do NOT want to ask them for ANY money, seriously not even a dime.

The obstacles I face right now are 1) not much to invest, 2) my health is getting bad, I have a real serious problem with headaches and my doc does not want to help me in the way I find necessary, I'm also feeling like a zombie all day long, my fears are that if I am not able to counter this, I wont be able to finish school either.

So as you can see I have all the right reasons to make this work, but also some serious hold-backs.
I've found myself crying in bed from pain the last few days and obviously that's a no-go with the goals I have set for myself.
From the first payment I get I hope to buy some pain killers on-line that I know work like magic for me. (Tramadol) To atleast get rid of those headaches, get a good nights rest again and be able to focus.

That's all for now, I'm just kinda rambling on at this point. Which I do love since well.. I ain't got a bunch of "friends" to talk to. But that's okay, I will manage.
I hope to see most of the newbs here succeed along with me, I know that there plenty that do this for the right reasons just like me and it would be great to help each other out and help each other on our way to succes.

I hope that the older guys / vets on this forum which have already succeeded can chime in from time to time without being grumpy (yes sorry, but I mean that), I know you see tonnes of threads like this every day / week / month and it's costing you tonnes of time and energy to respond to all of these while 99% are never ever going to do what you tell them to do. I myself coach some trainees and I know this feel EXACTLY.
Although I want you to know that for every 1000 threads you may see, that there is one out there that does really appreciate your advice, like me.

So for the sake of the 1% that does listen, please don't stop contributing, even though it might seem like no one is listening and 99% wants to be spoon fed.
I'd like to post a video that represents just how I feel about this but due to my status on this forum as of now, I can't.

good initial work. I am also working as homework for adsense. Right now using info links, but it seems to be less profitable.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.

So I am thinking of the following:
Tumblr blog -> blogger -> money

    To explain:
I put up a few tumblr blogs and reach out to a few k followers.
Put adsense on the tumblr blog
Redirect my pictures from tumblr to a blogger blog, put adsense and amazon affiliate links on there make it seem like a nice store.
Also the blogger blog will have an opt to leave email and name behind for a newsletter / future discounts / to win shit etc.

    Is this a good idea?
Do I need proxies if making more then lets say 3-5 tumblr blogs?
What are handy ways to get followers fast besides a good niche?
What are ways to find a good niche.

^those questions I will be researching now. PLEASE chime on on those!

    Thank you!
